Pedal Power is a voluntary campaigning group, formed in 1996, which aims to:
- Promote and encourage cycling as a means of transport and leisure.
- Influence transport planning and city development with a view to improving conditions for cyclists and to implementing the Derry Cycling Strategy.
- Contribute to the development of a healthy environment for everyone in the Derry City Council Area

Saturday 14 June - BorderTrek & FunTrek in the Sun Bike Week kicked off in glorious sunshine in Derry with BorderTrek and FunTrek setting off from the City Council offices, with the serious cyclists bound for Sligo and the not so serious for Letterkenny. Riverside The Riverside route extends from the Foyle Bridge to the Craigavon Bridge along the West Bank of the river. It gives easy access to many parts of the city and takes in a marvelous panorama of St Columbs Park on the opposite bank of the river Foyle. > more Templemore Cycle Route Nice route with good trees on either side and good views of Donegal hills when cycling from Glen Road to Templemore. > more
