Saturday 14 June - BorderTrek & FunTrek in the Sun
Bike Week kicked off in glorious sunshine in Derry with BorderTrek and FunTrek setting off from the City Council offices, with the serious cyclists bound for Sligo and the not so serious for Letterkenny. What better way to spend a Saturday morning than a leisurely jaunt along the banks of the Foyle and Swilly, enjoying great weather and spectacular views with your fellow cyclists.

Featured Routes

Riverside
The Riverside route extends from the Foyle Bridge to the Craigavon Bridge along the West Bank of the river. It gives easy access to many parts of the city and takes in a marvelous panorama of St Columbs Park on the opposite bank of the river Foyle.

Nice route with good trees on either side and good views of Donegal hills when cycling from Glen Road to Templemore.
